Appraisals are performed in our state of the art gemological laboratory.

Appraising is a procedure that requires extensive gemological training and market expertise. Our expert appraisals are appropriate for insurance replacement and estate valuations. Each appraisal is performed by a Gemologist Appraiser in our state-of-the-art gemological laboratory and is accompanied by a written detailed description and photograph.

Your appraisal is needed to insure your jewelry. Each valuation provides you with the estimated cost of replacing the item or recreating it as closely as possible. Antique items are given a replacement value with a comparable item that may not be an exact duplicate. Taken into consideration are current market prices, labor costs, creative design as well as other market activity. Each valuation is provided as an estimate of replacement value and not intended to be used for your other appraisal needs as a basis for a purchase price of the item.

We will keep a copy of your appraisal with our records, which may be referred to at any time. As a guide, appraisals should be updated every three years, unless large fluctuations in precious metal or gemstone prices warrant an earlier reassessment.
